You can sing in church and sink in hell
You can even preach to people and perish

Sometimes we have a terrible dream about heaven or hell or the rapture(in which we are often left behind) or hear a touching sermon or watch a terrifying movie about hell or the rapture(like burning hell). Immediately after these experiences, we often decide to stop all our sinful lifestyle and live for Christ. However, few days afterward, we forget everything and go back to our old lives. How sad! Beloved, the reason why Christ is delaying his coming is for other people to hear the gospel and repent, it is not for you to become tired and backslide. Afterall we can't have hell dreams or watch hell movies everyday. May God help us all.

Pleasure is the feeling of excitement derived from engaging in an activity. Once in a while, as christians we do somethings that are not evil to get pleasure, eg waching a favourite TV program. However, you become a living-dead person when you 'LIVE IN' pleasure; always doing or wanting to do smthing from which you can get pleasure/excitement:all types of parties, drinking, all forms of sport(for pleasure), watching movies n other TV programs, and do you know people now even go to church to seek pleasure? Any one who is obssessed with pleasure is spiritually DEAD! Such a person is insensitive to the Holy Spirit, insensitive to conscience and insensitive to godly correction and
advice. Proverbs 7:27 says her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. Maybe Castro's case shd warn us to beware of TOO MUCH pleasure and avoid association with people who love pleasure.

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God takes away his soul? Job 27:8. Substance is good. Yes! Its good to be wealthy. In fact its one of God's promises to his children. However, in our pursuit of 'this world's good', we should be careful not to go the way of the world. While u earnestly strive to maintain purity of life in your profession or studies, irrespective of what others do or refuse to do, the Lord will satisfy you with his goodness and you will NEVER lack any good thing. Yours is to be HOLY and HARDWORKING. The rest is a done deal. Please, don't throw away ur righteousness for riches.
